The fastest way to reach us is email: contact@getsms.uk. We read every message and reply to most within 48 hours. To help us help you quickly, include the phone number and the service you were verifying when reporting a problem.
Number removal & abuse reports
If you are a service provider, carrier, or individual who wants one of our numbers taken out of rotation — or you've spotted our numbers being used for something abusive — email us with the number and the reason. Removal requests are prioritized and typically handled within one business day.
Before you write
“My code didn't arrive” is almost always answered by our FAQ: the service may block virtual numbers, the number may already be used for that service, or there's a short carrier delay. Trying a fresh number — ideally from a different country — resolves the vast majority of cases.
Reporting a number that stopped working
Numbers rotate, so one that worked yesterday may be busy or retired today. If a specific number is dead, tell us which one and which service you were verifying — that helps us pull it from rotation sooner. In the meantime, the “Number not working?” button on any number page moves you straight to a working alternative, usually from a different country.
Press, partnerships and advertising
For press enquiries, partnership proposals, or questions about advertising on GetSMS, use the same address and put the topic in the subject line. We're a small operation, so support and abuse reports come first, but we do read everything that arrives.
What we can't help with
We can't recover an account you registered on a public number, and we can't tell you who else used a number or viewed its messages — every inbox here is public by design and we keep no record of who read what. We also can't make a particular service accept a virtual number: if an app blocks them, no temporary number will get through.
Response times
Most emails get a reply within 48 hours. Number-removal and abuse reports are prioritised and usually handled within one business day. There is no phone line — GetSMS is an online-only service, and email is genuinely the fastest way to reach a person here.
